A word puzzle with every letter in view
Daily Waffle Game brings three connected-word puzzle modes to your browser. Each board starts with all the letters you need, arranged in a waffle-shaped grid. Swap two letters at a time to form words across and down. Shared intersections make each decision matter in more than one direction.
The games are free to play and require JavaScript in a modern browser. You do not need to register an account, buy a subscription, or install an app. Choose a short daily challenge or work through the available archive at your own pace.

Daily Waffle offers one shared puzzle each day. Waffle Unlimited lets you choose from archived standard boards without waiting for tomorrow. Deluxe Waffle Unlimited uses a larger layout with longer words. Its archive is separate, so you can switch between standard and Deluxe challenges.
In every mode, green tiles are correctly placed. Yellow tiles indicate a remaining match within a word or at a crossing. Gray tiles still belong somewhere on the board. Finishing with unused swaps earns stars, up to five; the larger Deluxe grid has a larger move allowance.
Puzzles, definitions, and corrections
Archive entries are organized by puzzle number and date. Each puzzle includes its starting arrangement and solution, with word definitions where supplied. The archive import checks puzzle structure and keeps an index so the picker can load the selected board. These checks help catch malformed data; they do not replace editorial judgment about a word or definition.
Definitions are intended to help you explore unfamiliar vocabulary after a puzzle. If a clue, definition, or solution looks wrong, email the mode and puzzle number with your suggested correction. We welcome specific reports that make an issue easier to reproduce.
Access, age, and privacy
The service is intended for players aged 13 and over. Players under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian. Dark mode and high-contrast settings offer alternative appearances, and named menu and dialog controls support keyboard navigation. Tile swapping uses drag-and-drop.
Game progress, statistics, and preferences use browser storage. Clearing site data can remove saved results, and progress does not automatically follow you to another device.
